Max Mazin Scholarships and Award Ceremony – VIII edition

On May 27, 2021, an online awarding ceremony for the 25 winners of the 8th edition of the Max Mazin Awards took place.

It was recorded from the offices of the Foundation, with the presence of its President, Atara Mor, and the virtual attendance of the winners and their families, teachers, coordinators, the PEAC management team and  the regional Minister of Education and Youth of the Community of Madrid, Enrique Ossorio Crespo.

An atypical event due to the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic, but with a similar purpose to that of all previous editions: to recognise the talent and effort of this group of 25 former students of PEAC, the Educational Enrichment Program for Gifted Students in the Community of Madrid. These are students who are now undertaking their undergraduate, master’s or PhD programs and who, in the opinion of the Jury, have stood out for their overall academic performance, their curiosity for various fields of knowledge, their solidarity and, in short, for continuing to associate their life goals with furthering their academic and personal training.

Sol Olábarri, Director of the Economics and Competitiveness Department of the Madrid Business Confederation (CEIM), was the unanimous winner of the Jury’s award in the category of institutions and individuals who support intellectually gifted people, for her career and work in favour of the PEAC and of the scholarship awards.
